I had a wind-up Hermle mantle clocks for 30 years. Repair was quoted $1000 plus parts. Money I didn't have. So my Seiko Mantle Clock battery operated is just perfect.

Love it! I was replacing a clock I loved but kept losing time and didn't want to replace it with something that looked cheap, or worse, also lost time. This Newgate clock is quiet and is different enough that it hasn't got a pile of similar looking knock-offs.

I wanted to stop using my phone as an alarm but couldnβt find an alarm clock that was easy to use, easy to set alarms and didnβt need to be plugged in. I found this clock and am thrilled. Itβs so easy to use, a clear and easy to read panel and looks great and would also be easy to take on a trip. I love the flip function. I would highly recommend this clock.

Got this for a space that was too small to fit a standard wall clock. It is easy to read from a distance and looks good. Only complaint, which applies to just about every clock, is the branding on the face, would be better completely clear.
